Love My September

I know! This is an super-overdue post that I kept as draft since September and just have the time to publish it now.

September is a month which I reach one of my personal goal. I brought my parents to travel to places other than Kuching. All the accommodation, flight tickets, food and beverages are paid by me for my parents. They will just need to board on the plane and enjoy themselves.

Well, there is a reason I chose to bring them to Kota Kinabalu. I remember when I'm in Primary 6, my dad travelled to Kota Kinabalu on a church trip and he said that the island near Kota Kinabalu is a beautiful place. He said he wish to bring us to go one day. Unfortunately, my family faced financial crisis the following years and travel become something luxury to us. I secretly told myself that time, when I am working one day, I must bring my parents to that place.

And I made it! *Happy*

And guess what? We brought baby Tiffany with us. My aunt (Tiffany's grandma), my cousin Agnes and Elvin also join my family for the trip =)

Obviously I am the one that took this photo, I am not in!
My beloved family~

At Pulau Manukan. I'm sad to see the island is being polluted.
Rubbish like plastic bags is floating everywhere, population of aquatic organism decrease as well.

My sister, baby Tiffany, my dad and I

Having so much fun!
sorry, I wearing the life jacket all the time because I don't know how to sing and I'm "kia si".

Tiffany little feet join us =D

Sorry, I just like to do this whenever I am excited!

I miss you, Mr Tiang, haha

The Green Connection
Many people do not aware of this awesome place to visit.
It is place of conservation of aquatic organism in Kota Kinabalu established on May 2009.

Tiffany is so happy to actually see a sea turtle rather than watch it on TV.

On my left and right are actually big connected tanks with different species of fish living in it.

At the center, you are most welcome to interact with the creature there.
Picture shown two  horseshoe crabs.
They are in love with each other so much.
The smaller male cling on the larger female and they never separate for more than 1 years.
No, they are not having sex.
According to the staff there, horseshoe crab will only reproduce when they see full moon.

I got the chance to hold a blue star fish.
I was afraid it might bite at first, lol.
Feel like u are holding a sponge.

Another type of star fish, the bread star fish.

A giant coconut crab. It can rip apart the shell of coconut easily!

Present to you my favourite creature at the center.
let's meet "Gangster" the overweight green sea turtle.

He is so photogenic!
In the tank we still have stingray the gentleman and shark the shy guy and many other species of fish.

Feeding time.
Gangster got his name because he will rush for food while other will wait patiently for their turn.

Tiffany with the stingray.
It is the size of a 3 year old kids.
Huge right?

Mummy couldn't resist the cuteness of Gangster too.

Can you spot the now?

Surgeon fish.
Hold it with your bare hand and you will get your palm slice open like in surgery.

Clown fish with the sea anemone.
As you all know, the tentacles of sea anemone is poisonous.
The officer explain to us that, it actually took at least 1 month for a clown fish to actually  live with a new sea anemone.
It take time for the clown fish to be immune to the poison of the tentacles.

Having seafood dinner.
Honestly, the seafood at KK is very expensive!

Some foody goody we had in KK.

The soup is nice!

Some random photo i took.
It's a puzzle shop1

Cute car spotted at F.O.S.

Tiffany with the mini Marry-Go-Around at 1 Borneo Hyper-mall.

Of course my September fun don't end at Kota Kinabalu. Elvin and I manage to watch "The Smurfs" in 3D before he back to Johor Bahru to continue his studies.

Miss you so much ,*pinch pinch*

Guess what, we booked the whole cinema hall, hehehe.

Just kidding. I took the photo before the other 4 customers come in.
yes, only 6 of us occupied the big hall, lol.

Ah, meet up with Sherwin again before he back to England.
Two of them are high school classmates.
I get to know Jessica first, and through her, I get to know Sherwin.
Ever since then, the three of us are buddy!

Dearest Jessica =)

Random photo I took when walk around at the Riverside Kuching.
Astana is pretty lighted up.

The red flowers of the tree caught my eye.
Such a pretty.

Last but not least, my current favourite accessory which I bought from KK trip.
An old school pocket watch that actually working.

I am looking forward to bring my family travelling in coming years. I like spending time with my beloved family and friends. They are the one who stay by side when I needed them the most.

Till then, cheers~
